Year 6 are loving their new sport club.
Year 6 have had a lot of fun today finding evidence in the New Testament that proves Jesus is the Messiah. As part of the lesson we role-played an interview with Mary and Joseph about their son’s rise to fame!
The rain may have stopped Tag Rugby but it didn’t dampen the competitiveness of 6JA! Lots of great games played, well done to all.
The people of All Saints’ Church have put on a Harvest Experience for the pupils of our school and today it was Y6’s turn. We learned about the harvests of the Earth from the fields to the oceans, and how produce is used in everyday life.
6JA have been investigating how the length of a wire can affect the brightness of a lightbulb in a circuit.
The children in Year 6 enjoyed making their miniature gardens this garden. All of the gardens have been made from items that the children have gathered over the 6 week break.
The children are taking their gardens down to the Imperial Rooms, in Matlock, where they will be exhibited as part of the Matlock Show which takes place this weekend.
